Include Pinterest advertising in the customer journey alongside your other channels, such as Google, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Salesforce DMP. Pinterest is one of the major photo-sharing social media sites where users find new ideas and has a strong base in B2C advertising. Use Marketing Cloud, Sales Cloud, and Pardot data to make Pinterest advertising more effective.

Where: This change applies to all Advertising Studio users in Marketing Cloud.

How: When you create an audience in Advertising Studio, select Pinterest as your destination. Include the name, advertising account, and data extension.

Create SMS and MobilePush Messages

You can now create SMS and push notification messages in Marketing Cloud Content Builder. You can also use the Content Builder editor in Journey Builder to create and send messages. Journey Builder SMS messages are no longer created in MobileConnect, and Journey Builder push notifications are no longer created in MobilePush.

Where: This change applies to MobilePush, MobileConnect, Content Builder, and Journey Builder. See Create an SMS Message in Content Builder and Create a Push Notification in Content Builder.

How: In Content Builder, click Create, select either SMS Message or mouse over Mobile App Message and select Push Notification.

In Journey Builder, drag the SMS or Push Notification activity to the canvas, click the activity, and click New Message.
